The cool dawn shimmers and shivers.
Anticipation of a new day risen.
The glance of rays on glassy waves.
Smouldering boiling frothing a broth of middays hues,
where rainbow crystalline spray brakes and cascades back to the whole.
Bathe in the afternoon's heated perfection
as heat and light conjoin in swimmers delight.
Then dipping sun sends on last hurrah
in twilight's ripple seen from afar.
